"All Saints excels at distance learning. The strong foundation established in the classroom prepared our son to benefit from the more flexible learning schedule of distance learning. Teachers and administrators supply resources to foster social interaction. Class sessions include interaction with teachers and communication with other students. Students are required to meet the same accountability standards of the typical school day with teachers administering quizzes, unit tests and homework. The Daily Morning announcements and prayers are emailed now, and still the welcomed way to start the day. We are so grateful for the educational opportunities All Saints provides, in the classroom and online." |
"Though nothing beats the incredible learning environment that ASCS provides, our teachers and staff were nothing short of amazing during the pandemic time when our children couldn't learn in person. They rallied stronger and faster than any other school that I am aware of in the area. Systems were quickly in place for the students to continue their curriculum, continue connecting with their teachers and peers via regular zoom meetings, and continue growing in faith. The teachers and staff maintained as much as they possibly could - weekly mass, virtues in practice, Families in Prayer, and even sending out morning announcements each day in the same format that students were used to. This really helped put our kids in the right place mentally each morning. As if they weren't busy enough pivoting and adjusting to the new demands, no fewer than three staff members reached out to us personally to check in and see how our family was handling the challenging times that we faced. I lost track of the number of other families that checked in. The community at ASCS is faith-filled, loving, supportive, and always ready to help anyone in need." |
Yes the days have been busy and different but so very blessed! The distance learning has really helped Abigail and I to connect in a new way, it’s encouraged her brothers to join in on new learning opportunities. We have witnessed so many extra sweet moments between siblings; hugs, kisses, sharing, encouragement and joy. They are working hard to master new skills (roller blades, gymnastics skills, pumping themselves on the swings....it’s been different but also allowed for new growth!) It is difficult to see the world struggling but it’s also amazing to see the world come together! With God we can handle all things!
"Distance learning is going very well for us. Will is loving reading to his brother from the Raz Kids app. I am fortunate to still be working so balancing and teaching him has been our only challenge. Mrs. Simmons sends the next days assignments the night before so that helps me to prepare for the next day." |
"As far as distance learning, I am just so impressed! The teachers have organized everything so well, we know exactly what to do. They've made it so easy to hand in work done at home and are meeting with my kids online every day! While other schools are sending very generic optional items for their students, the All Saints teachers and students haven't missed a beat! We are so fortunate to be a part of this awesome school!" |
"Distance learning has provided a good opportunity for our son to be more independent by being responsible for his schedule and his work. The teachers supply resources to help students meet their educational requirements and they foster social interaction with other students. Weekly online mass and family activity involvement create a well rounded distance learning." |
"Will was working with Ms. Lombardi (reading specialist) when he was in school and she has started working with him again which is great to assist him in keeping on pace." |
